Workout Restoration

One thing that I have come to understand is that we don’t get enough veggies and fruits in a day. The second thing is that when you do an intense workout if you are trying to lose weight or maintain body weight you need to give yourself a couple hours after before you go chowing down. So here is what I do. I make myself a detox juice and sit somewhere peaceful where I can relax completely. This time it was my backyard. I have been working day in and day out to get those knee high weeds pulled and I’m almost done so now it’s time to reap the benefits. Shangri-La! Yes, Shangri-La is an idea and we can attain it if we choose. Harmony inside of us and in our surroundings. When I workout I like to enhance my wellness by drinking something delicious that also removes the toxins that I have jarred loose and get them moving out.  Restoration also takes place. The juice restores glucose to proper levels and helps the muscles relax and smooth out.

I have named this drink: In a juicer push all ingredients.Please use organic if possible. It serves 2

  • Detox and Restore
  • 1 whole head of celery
  • 2 Apples
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 1/2 cup packed cilantro
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 lime
  • 1 finger of Turmeric root
  • 1/2 cup plain kombucha (optional but it gives it a little fizz for fun and probiotics)
  • Enjoy your little bit of Shangri-La!
