Are you Wondering What the World is Coming To?

Last night right before bed my sweet husband announces to me that a news report declares Hawaii is in a state of red alert! I don’t do news so I did not know this. Nuclear bomb alert! The night needless to say for the most part was spent contemplating the what if’s. As I am sure many people did. My second thoughts were interesting, I started thinking about what can be done to survive.

I don’t have the answers as to how to climb down out of this escalated mess on a political scale but, I do know for sure that there are ways to survive. And that starts with prevention and healing of the body. We as a Humans need to eat better and stay fit or get fit. Keep water on hand and activated charcoal. The nutrition part I’ll discuss in a bit but first..

The other thoughts going through my head as I lay quietly in the dark; Why are we collectively speaking, a target? Why is it that so many developing nations see us as the planetary threat? The obvious answer of course is that our spending of natural resources is out of control and we are seen as not willing to share any of them. But I remembered a teaching that I had read awhile back about Karma. On a karmic plain living a great life of ease is reward for good behavior or great sacrifice in an earlier time or in a past life. If that is true many souls in our part of the world are reaping benefits for something in a past life and apparently this has been going on a long time. The thing is though is that if you take that good fortune for granted and don’t pay it forward, continue to regenerate the good Karma then it runs out and you may infact through unskillful behavior be actually creating a downward spiral effect. So I asked myself….Am I depositing more good Karma chips more than bad?

What I am trying so clumsily to say here is that perhaps we need to stop generating negative Karma by being more skillful at right living. Perhaps the leveling of the world issues comes with leveling our judgments of others and hatefulness and seeking happiness in that right living. As my mind wandered down this path further I imagined a world where there was no hate. Because no hate is right at the top of the list of right skillful living. When we allow our unskillful negative feelings, words and behavior to continue we are actually harming ourselves and creating great suffering for everyone in our path. Compassion and empathy do not mean being a doormat or condoning poor actions. But, choosing to be compassionate and understanding that every action has a reason behind it, makes it easier to have empathy for even those that we see as the enemy. Which brings us back around to what part we play in the scenario. I for one, after a very long night, have made the decision to  reflect on why I am part of society that is a target and to do my best to live the good life and learn how to live, love, be a benefit to others and STAND DOWN on the negative . We can survive and will. No matter what occurs. Together.

One Good Life Begets Another

The First Thing Is Refrain From Harming                                      Others Or Yourself.

The Second Is To Actively Be A Benefit To                                              Others

This is where we get back to Nutrition. Refrain from harming others or yourself. How many are eating so unskillfully that they are making themselves and the people that they care for sick? And perhaps in many cases don’t know that is what they are doing. And how many businesses in the food industry are knowingly harming people to make a buck?

Here are some food that you can consume daily that eliminate radiation from your body as well as other toxic chemicals: The big thing is Plant fiber. Animal food products hold more radiation and tend to hang around in the gut longer. Not good where radiation is concerned.

Okay this I promise will be the only Blog this long but I had to do it. Be of service where I can.

My big Question that I would love answers to is this: What can you do to be part of a wave to take the world in a more peaceful direction? Are there any negativity issues that need to be addressed in your life? How can you take better care of not harming yourself?

Because it has always been us that has the power to change things and to make a difference
